Hey buddy – most people want to create change in some area of their lives right? We try and try again to make those changes but too often find ourselves falling back into the same habits and behaviors. Self-discipline and self-control, (unless you have Monk-like skills, lol) seem to elude us when we need it most.

So how does lasting change take place? Well, the butterfly doesn’t struggle in the cocoon. Fresh wildflowers spring up new each year. The mechanics of the tree are in the seed, and the tree doesn’t labor to produce its fruit. These things simply do what they were designed to do by our Lord and that process of change takes place, effortlessly.

The Word of God is that seed and your heart is the soil. When it’s planted and nurtured it begins to grow (deeply, never to be removed). The result is genuine transformation and the fruit becomes evident to all. If you want to achieve real change in your life, just turn to The Word.

And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for Him.

 Hebrews 9:27-28

I hope (with a confident expectation) I get to shake your hand in heaven brother :)
